In Canada, all drivers, goods handlers, and logistics personnel must follow the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and Regulations. This nation-wide system provides for clear and consistent communication thereby assisting to keep people, property, and the environment safe and secure from spills or other hazards. TDG is also regulated on the provincial/territorial level.
Everyone in the transportation and handling process must receive TDG training. Please note that supplemental training is required for materials in classes 1, 6.2, and 7.
The goal of the Transportation of dangerous goods training is to provide the fundamentals of transporting dangerous goods by road including an understanding of the system, how to work safely and the competent response to any incidents.

Online Assessment
