Course Overview
One of the most toxic and flammable gases, H2S demands respect and awareness on the jobsite. This H2S training course is highly suited for anyone that may be in proximity to work areas where the gas is found and therefore needs to know about emergency response procedures and related protective equipment.
** Please note, employees should consult with their employers to understand exactly what level of H2S training is required for their role.
Intended for individuals who may be exposed to hydrogen sulfide in the workplace, this course provides information to help protect individuals from exposure and explains how to deal with emergencies involving H2S.
Please Note: This program is not equivalent to the Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive in class course.
Approved by Alberta Environment & Parks for Continuing Education Units.

Online Assessment
Students answer questions on the course material and are required to obtain a minimum passing mark of 80%. The student will have two additional opportunities to pass if required.
Completion Certificate
Following successful completion of this course, the student will have the opportunity to download and print a certificate of completion which is valid for a period of 3 years.
