Course Overview
This course teaches the essentials of the safe handling of both types of propane cylinders, liquid and vapour withdrawal. The science of propane and mechanics of the types of cylinders is outlined as well as the required safety equipment.
Discussion of inspecting, transporting and storing cylinders follows ending with how to handle emergency situations.
The certificate of completion aligns with the Canadian Standards Authority’s Regulation B149.2-10 and USHA 1910.110 Storage and Handling of Liquified Petroleum Gases Code in the United States for propane storage and handling.

Online Assessment
Students answer questions on the course material and are required to obtain a minimum passing mark of 80%. The student will have two additional opportunities to pass if required.
